Hoosier Hills offers a multitude of activities for Fiber Enthusiasts - and their families! While you're taking a break from shopping, check out one of these activities!
- SCA - Society for Creative Anachronism: Demonstrating spinning, weaving and shearing all weekend in the grassy area outside Fitzpatrick and Magill Halls.
- Fiber arts demonstrations:
- Bobbin lace demonstration all day Friday and Saturday. In Scott Hall you can see The Circle City Lacers from Greenwood Indiana and in the Magill Hall demo area, you can watch Stephen Bowman of the Bedford College of Lace Making.
- Many vendors demonstrate their skills in their booths. Most of us love answering questions and talking about our skills, so don't be afraid to ask.
- If you're not a vendor and you'd like to volunteer to demonstrate your skill for our show visitors, please contact us!
- Civil War Reenactors
- Music
- Red Bird Studio - The audience participates in making music. Family friendly!
- Henrichsen Family, Heart and Home: Saturday, all day, in the gazebo.
- Central Indiana Folk Music Group: Saturday, noon, in Magill Hall.
- Salt Creek Sweet 'Taters Dulcimer Society: Saturday afternoon, Scott Hall.
